I have looming deadlines for several projects and I’ve been out of town a lot recently, so I should have been parked in front of my computer today writing and editing and sleuthing away.
But the sun was shining and the forecast is for rain and it’s late September. There’s already a dusting of new snow on the mountaintops. So I just had to get out there.
Work can wait; but life can’t. So I put on my hiking boots and headed out with my camera in hand, a big smile on my face. Carpe diem!
But I swear that I will have THE ONLY CLUE (sequel to THE ONLY WITNESS) out in a few weeks.
Really.
And I will get all that contract work done, too.
You can trust me. Really.
If the sun shines too much, I’ll just have to write after dark.
Good shot of Shuksan. Around here, you have to take advantage of the sunny days! You did good.
I’d be out there hiking too. Looks like a marvelous day.
